OpenAI launched a beta self-serve Ads Manager at ads.openai.com for verified U.S. advertisers of any size, added cost-per-click bidding (recommended starting bids of $3–$5) alongside $60 CPM, removed the $50,000 minimum, and introduced a measurement pixel and Conversions API with aggregated reporting.
- Objectives: Reach (CPM) or Clicks (CPC); CPC uses a relevance-weighted second-price auction.
- Agency partners: Dentsu, Omnicom, Publicis, WPP. Technology partners: Adobe, Criteo, Kargo, Pacvue, StackAdapt (Kargo and Pacvue announced the same day).
- Ads were served to Free and Go users in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
- OpenAI said third-party measurement and CPA bidding were in development.
