- URL inclusions and exclusions tested for Search campaigns using AI-generated ads
Search campaigns gained campaign-level URL exclusions to block site sections from being used for final URL expansion and generated ad content, alongside a URL inclusions control to prioritise pages. Inclusions were not yet functioning as expected at launch. Source

Merchants can opt in to automatic shipping updates, which refine delivery-time estimates using historical tracking data from linked partner accounts, StoreBot crawling or data submitted via the Merchant API. The feature is off by default and initially limited to the US. Source

From July 14, 2025, Google Ads scripts throws sunset errors for AdCustomizerSource and related builders and for withOnlyLegacy() extension selectors; withOnlyUpgraded() now only logs a warning since asset-based extensions are the only option. Source

The UploadClickConversionsRequest.debug_enabled field was removed in v21 and became non-functional in v18, v19 and v20 on August 6, 2025, so ConversionUploadError.CLICK_NOT_FOUND is no longer returned. Source

The pause and delete buttons were merged into a single delete action that fully rolls back a Cloudflare-based Google tag gateway configuration. Source
Microsoft Ads
- Asset-level editorial review began: headlines, descriptions and images reviewed individually
Microsoft emailed advertisers that policy review would move from whole ads to individual assets, letting ads keep serving with the minimum approved assets and adding "Most assets disapproved" and "Essential assets disapproved" statuses. Asset-level appeals were not yet supported. Source
- App-level placement reporting and exclusions added to Audience campaigns
Audience campaigns gained Mobile App Name, Mobile Bundle and Mobile Web URL reporting columns and the ability to exclude specific apps at account, campaign or ad group level; Microsoft-owned apps remain non-excludable. In August Microsoft replaced aggregate app-store rows in the website URL publisher report with per-app data. Source
