Product Value Optimization beta let advertisers adjust conversion values per product for bidding

Date
Sep 14, 2026
Primary source
Google (Accelerate with Google)

Google published a Product Value Optimization beta that lets advertisers set value adjustments on individual products or product attributes so automated bidding optimises toward the products that matter most. It applies to Performance Max and Shopping campaigns.

Advertisers can multiply the conversion value of selected products, define which products matter using attributes such as brand or category, and apply the adjustments at campaign level rather than account level. Google positions it as a way to bid toward profit, seasonal sell-through or best-sellers without restructuring campaigns or rewriting feed values, with the adjustment fed into bidding in real time.

Google's announcement page carries no publication date. The beta was surfaced publicly by Adriaan Dekker on LinkedIn and picked up on September 14, 2026; Google appears to have posted the page quietly some time earlier.
