Google's 2024 update added structured_title and structured_description for disclosing AI-generated text, a loyalty_program attribute (US and Japan), auto_pricing_min_price, free_shipping_threshold, a downpayment sub-attribute for installment, and a credit_type sub-attribute for vehicle ads, effective April 9, 2024.
- July 31, 2024: shipping cost required and enforced in India and New Zealand
- September 1, 2024: pickup_method optional for local inventory ads
- Postponed to April 2025: deprecation of energy efficiency class attributes in favor of certification; removal of price attribute for installment downpayments outside LATAM
