Chrome third-party cookie phase-out delayed to the second half of 2024

Google pushed the Privacy Sandbox timeline again, saying third-party cookies would remain in Chrome until the second half of 2024 to allow more testing of the replacement APIs, with broader Privacy Sandbox trials starting in August 2022. The delay extended the runway for cookie-based remarketing and measurement in Google Ads.
