Google's 2022 product data specification update introduced the pause [pause] attribute to temporarily stop Shopping ads, turned missing shipping country sub-attribute warnings into errors, and clarified unique product identifier guidance, effective April 27, 2022.
Second phase effective June 26, 2022: availability_date required for backorder and preorder items (up to one year ahead) and automatic item updates for condition enabled by default.
