Advertisers promoting debt services to the UK had to comply with an updated policy from January 17, 2022. The requirement that providers be authorized to hold client money was removed, while FCA authorization or licensure through a Recognized Professional Body remained required.
Google's change-log entry was originally posted in November 2021 ahead of the January 17, 2022 effective date.
