Google published a help page for automated bidding in video reach campaigns, a beta that removes the need to set a manual Target CPM. Google automatically sets and adjusts bids to spend the full budget, and the supported subtypes are Efficient reach and Non-skippable with a target CPM.
- Leave the bid field empty to use automated bidding.
- A Target CPM can still be set, in which case Google maximizes impressions or views at or below that cost.
- Advertisers can switch between automated and manual bidding during campaign creation, in ad group settings, from reporting tables, or when duplicating campaigns.
