AI Brief, the plain-language way to give AI Max business context, messaging guidelines and audience guidance, added seven languages to its closed beta. It launched in US English in May 2026, so this is the first time non-English advertisers can steer AI Max in their own language.
- Languages added: Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish.
- Still a closed beta, so access is through your Google rep rather than self-serve.
- AI Brief lets marketers "provide business context and guardrails while Gemini handles execution" - campaign messaging, creative guidelines and audience direction in conversational language, set before the campaign launches.
- Announced alongside the unified AI Max reporting feature at DMEXCO.
