Search Console introduced platform properties for Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube accounts

A new property type lets creators and site owners, even without a website, verify a social or video account through platform authorization and see Performance, Insights and Achievements reports for their posts on Google Search, Discover and News.
Follows the December 2025 social channels experiment. A 'Platform property tooltips' help page surfaced on June 12, 2026 before the launch. Rolled out gradually before becoming globally available on July 29, 2026.
