A ten-year agreement announced in June 2015 made Bing the provider of AOL's organic and paid search results across desktop, mobile and tablet from 1 January 2016, ending a partnership with Google that dated back to 2002. Advertisers relying on search partner volume could see shifts from that date.
The deal was announced on 29 June 2015; the entry is dated to when the switch took effect.
