Pay-per-action beta scheduled for retirement following the DoubleClick Performics integration

With the DoubleClick Performics affiliate network becoming the Google Affiliate Network, Google announced it would phase out the AdWords pay-per-action beta in the last week of August 2008. Conversion Optimizer remained the CPA option inside AdWords, while the Google Affiliate Network covered publisher-specific CPA deals for US advertisers.
Conversion Optimizer support was also added to AdWords Editor and the AdWords API at this time.
